Fifth Avenue Floral

This card was made for Stamping 411 challenge.



I never tried the techique with shimmery paper and reinkers. I did with the regular Whisper White paper, but now I can see the difference. Shimmer paper doesn't curl that much and absorb ink slower, so colors can blend much nicely.

Weekend is over and here I am with some new cards made for different challenges. This one is made for Crafty Creations color challenge. Theme was Blue.






I used three shades of blue. Bashful Blue, Brokade Blue and Night of Navy.

Yahoo group Late Night Stampers has a challenge every week and this is my first time to participate.
Last week I got Cheers to You stamp set and I was eager to put some ink on them.
This is such a sweet stamp set.

Lovely as a Tree

Today's card is made for two challenges. First is from Diva's Coffee Break Designs with color scheme challenge,


and the other is from Stamping 411, with a cute and quite simple sketch.




I came up with this.


Choosing stamp set was easy. Lovely as a Tree was a perfect match for the color scheme and the sketch.

Christmas Card

Today I made my first Christmas card this season.
The new Holiday Lounge DSP is so elegant and pretty.
The minute I saw the sketch at Mojo Monday I knew I'll be using sweet treat cups.

I challenged myself to make a quick 10 minute card, because I really don't have time to create anything these days.
It takes longer to edit the photo and post it, then it was to make it.
I still don't have Halloween paper, so I used Razzleberry Lemonade and Nigh & Day Specialty.

I don't make many square cards. It is a challenge for me. As I really liked this week's sketch at Mojo Monday, I decided to try it.
Night and Day Specialty DSP is so elegant and a few red details accent a card preety nice.
