Come and Get It - Make your own background

Hello, my crafty friends. Here I am with a new card for this weeks challenge at Come and Get It.
The theme is Make Your Own Background.

We have some awesome sponsors this week. They are Odd Ball Art StampsSasayaki Glitter and Doodle Digi Stamps.

For my card, I used a digi from Odd Ball Art Stamps called Cute Little Whimsical Mushroom Home.

I colored the image with Copic markers. To make it look like the sun rays are coming from the top left corner, I made some lines with a Colorless Blender.

To make the background, I used a woodgrain stamp that I heat embossed with white embossing powder. After that, I inked the paper with Distress Inks.

Come and Get It - Weddings

Hello, my crafty friends. I'm back with a new card for the challenge at Come and Get It.  The theme is Weddings.

Don't forget to check this week's sponsor Di's Digi Stamps.

For my card, I used Love You Mostest Couple digi from Tiddly Inks. I colored the image with Copic markers. To make the veil more visible, I made lines with a glitter pen where the veil would be. I made a background paper with stamping and heat embossing in white a stamp from MFT Stamps.
The ribbon and flowers are from my stash.
To add a bit more sparkle I painted the gray paper edges with a glitter pen.

Come and Get It - Nautical

Hello, my crafty friends.
I'm back with a new card for this weeks challenge at Come and Get It. This week the theme is Nautical. Still not hot enough over here to

Our sponsor this week is Paper Nest Dolls.

For my card, I used an image called Owen with a toy boat.

I had so much fun making this card. First I colored the image with Copic markers. For the background, I heat embossed in white the wavey background stamp and inked it with the new Distress Oxide inks. I also splashed it with some water droplets.
The anchor is a die cut that I also heat embossed, this time with the pewter embossing powder.
To create the chain I used the waxed string that holds the form and made loose knots.
